How does color travel from tradition to contemporary art? This two-part program begins with Warna Bali (Penerbit Buku Kompas, 2025), as researchers from Gurat Institute and Balinese language scholar Luh Yesi Candrika explore color through cosmology, ritual, classical texts, and natural pigments. Curator Hendro Wiyanto then connects the book to the exhibition, while artists Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo and Yessiow share how they reimagine color through material experimentation and public murals.
