Color, Poetry, Dinner: Sensory Table & Cultural Salon
In Bali, colour lives far beyond the canvas, in ritual, nature, material, architecture, and everyday life. Color, Poetry, Dinner gathers a small group around one table to experience colour through every sense: seeing, tasting, touching, listening, and remembering.
Inspired by the cultural salons of the 18th century, where artists and thinkers met in intimate settings without a formal stage, the evening unfolds as a conversation between guests and speakers. Chef Felip presents a series of courses that explore how colour shapes taste before the first bite. Poet Wayan Jengki Sunarta offers readings that respond to the colours, memories, and rituals of Bali. Fiber artist Mang Moel shares the stories behind his crochet works, which are on display throughout the room. The conversation is moderated by Vanessa Harsamto.
